Grants to Kansas nonprofit organizations, churches, educational institutions, counties, and cities in eligible regions for programs, projects, and community efforts in the areas of charitable giving, education, and science. Proposals should address a need in the community. Funding is intended to benefit citizens in the Valley Center area.

Funding requests should embody one or more of the following criteria:

  • Urgency or immediacy, to address a demonstrated need
  • Excitement, because it is a bold new venture
  • Creativity, in providing new solutions to age-old problems

Term of Contract:

The project/program cannot occur until after grants are estimated to be made (January 26, 2020). The project/program must be completed by November 2, 2020, unless additional considerations are shared prior to the completion of the project/program.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

To apply for this opportunity, your organization must meet the following requirements:
- Possess a 501(c)(3) status under the Internal Revenue Service code, be exempt under statute (i.e. educational institution, church, city, or county), or be formally linked to an organization with such distinction
- Management should be in the hands of reliable, ethical, and experienced personnel
