Grants of up to $500 to Kansas nonprofit and faith-based organizations, government agencies, and institutions for student educational programming in eligible locations. Funding is intended programs of ethical or moral value, educational experiences and trips, and equipment or materials that are not included in school budgets. Activities must benefit Ellsworth students enrolled in USD 112 or USD 327 schools.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Grants available of up to $500 each (Minimum request: $250)

Term of Contract:

Your final report is due within one year from the date your organization receives notification of the grant award OR 30 days from the completion of your project- whichever comes sooner.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The Community Foundation will consider grant requests from all 501(c) (3) charitable organizations, government/public entities, educational institutions and churches.

Other organizations such as for-profit entities and volunteer groups will only be considered if the request is for a charitable community grant. All other organizations are encouraged to find a non-profit fiscal partner. If that is not possible, you will need to practice expenditure responsibility including submitting receipts.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications are accepted November 30 - January 15.

All applications must be submitted by 11:59 (CST) on the day of the deadline.
