officers are volunteers. recently had a change in treasurers position. While going through files new treasurer found that 2021 990N was not filed. After further research treasurer established that needed to file a 990 EZ due to donations, grants and fundraising received in 2021 was over amount for a 990N. This funds raised was mostly due to grants for a building project that was supposed to be started in 2021 but due to Covid and various issues building has been pushed back and will start March 2023. This is first year that has had to file a 990 EZ.

THE KANSS CANCER FOUNDATION IS A NON-PROFIT (501)(C)(3) ORGANIZATION. OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE FUNDING FAMILIES OF BARTON COUNTY KANSAS WITH CHILDREN WHO ARE LIVING WITH CANCER, CREATE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF CHILDHOOD CANCER, AND OFFER HOPE TO FAMILIES WHO ARE AFFECTED BY CHILDHOOD CANCER. THESE ENDEAVORS WILL COMFRONT, WITHOUT LIMITATIONS, CONTRIBUTING FACTORS TO POVERTY SUCH AS DRUG ABUSE, HIGH CRIME RATES, LACK OF RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES, UNEMPLOYMENT, AND SUBSTANDARD EDUCTION, AND ANY OTHER FACTORS WHICH CONTRIBUTE TO CONTINUATION OF POVERTY CYCLE OF YOUTH AND CHILDREN IN OGDEN, KANSAS.
