Grants to Kansas nonprofit organizations for operating support to programs that provide services to victims of domestic violence and gender-based assault. Funding is intended to support services such as counseling, temporary emergency shelter, assistance to abuse victims and their children, and educational services to reduce the incidence of domestic abuse and diminish its impact on the victims.

Through the Grant Program, the Victims Services Division seeks to ensure that Kansas crime victims: 1) are aware of their rights, 2) have their rights protected, 3) are aware of the services available to them, and 4) have access to quality services.
